Food was amazing. I highly recommend the zucchini fries and the pizza. The gluten free pasta was also wonderful for our gluten free members of the group. The tiramisu was also great! Service was quick, the recommendations were great too!

We ordered the bruschetta again this time around, so crispy agarlicky and topped with tomatoes absolutely perfect. The Bronzino was amazing! Such a large portion, and extremely flavorful. The tomatoes and capers were such a perfect accompaniment.

First time at this restaurant but very familiar with the area. We had a large group (more than 6) for our friend's dinner and our server was super sweet and patient with us. I enjoyed my fried chicken with pasta in vodka sauce so much that I didn't even need the chicken with this plate. It was so much food! I enjoyed the decor/ambiance and the natural light on the second floor. My partner had chicken/mushroom dish and he enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the summer sangria (very sweet.) I think everyone enjoyed their meal and there is so much dessert within walking distance (esp ice cream!) Def want to return for their bottomless brunch on a Saturday or Sunday.

Visited for the unlimited brunch and I was not disappointed. They serve various items on their unlimited menu from pizza to pasta to salad to soup. Everything was tasty and made to order. They allow you to order 3 items per time at the table. And they are strict with the 2 hour rule of ordering food. We ordered mimosas as well, which were reasonable priced. The decor is an old school Italian style with a homely feel.

The food was amazing! Additionally, our server Brendan crafted a masterful evening for my wife and I! My first experience at Mia's was for my birthday, and it turned out to be awesome!! Thanks Brendon for your recommendations and your pleasant demeanor!

Mia's just may have the best bottomless brunch (for food) in the DMV! The restaurant is large with 2 levels of seating and outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The menu features a healthy variety of options, but don't expect the "typical" brunch menu items as this is an Italian restaurant. For example, the Italian French toast is more of a bread pudding than actual French toast. However, they do have a couple of egg scrambles on the menu, as well as a brunch pizza, so you can get some form of eggs and bacon. Brunch is limited to 2 hours once seated, which is standard. If you're in the mood for drinks, you also have the option of getting mimosa flights as well as ordering pitchers of sangria or a drink off of the cocktail menu. They have some sort of weird rule where you can only order a number of plates equal to one less than the number of people in your party at a time. What if you only have a table of 2 - you're only allowed to place an order for one brunch item at a time? I understand they likely do this to eliminate food waste, but this is a bit awkward if it's a large group that has different tastes and doesn't want to share their food. I'm hoping they change that rule in the future. Besides that, our server was nice and attentive. We also had a slight snag during our visit, but the manager on duty at the time did make up for it. My favorites from the menu were the giant meatball, strawberry and arugula salad, brunch pizza, and prosciutto & fig pizza. All of the items are quite heavy, but there are a few lighter items on the menu as well, so there is something for everyone on this menu. Overall, everything tasted great and came out warm, and I am looking forward to coming back.

Mia's Italian Kitchen offers a fantastic weekend bottomless brunch experience for $32 per person, allowing you to try unlimited menu items. Our group opted to share the small plates, which was a fun and interactive way to sample a variety of the menu items. The food was flavorful, and the variety ensured there was something for everyone to enjoy. The restaurant was bustling with activity, it was a fun atmosphere but the noise level is on the higher side, which might not be ideal for those seeking a quieter dining experience. I recommend making a reservation as it gets quite busy. Overall, Mia's is a great choice for a brunch outing with friends or family.

This is a great spot for a dinner with family or friends. I recently visited to celebrate a friend's birthday, and our server was incredibly attentive, checking on us frequently, which we really appreciated. However, we brought a mini cheesecake to share, and to our surprise, the server informed us they couldn't accommodate it, claiming it was "illegal." It left me wondering why some other restaurants in the area are able to allow this. We kicked things off with the Bruschetta, which is one of my personal favorites. The portion was huge and perfect for sharing. We also tried the meatball eggrolls, a unique and tasty dish that added a fun twist to the meal. For my entrée, I went with the Chicken Parmesan. While the chicken portion was generous, the serving of pasta was disappointingly small--I would have preferred a better balance between the two. My partner ordered the Chargrilled Branzino, which was cooked beautifully and paired with a delicious puttanesca sauce. That said, a common complaint at our table was that many of the dishes were overly salt. On the bright side, the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, which I appreciated. Overall, while the experience had its highlights, I'm not sure this will become my go-to Italian spot in Old Town Alexandria, especially with so many other great options in the area.

During our most recent trip to DC, a bottomless brunch was a must! After doing some Instagram research, we settled on Mia's Italian Kitchen. When they had a reservation available on Open Table for the perfect time, it was a done deal. We ordered a round of drinks before we put food in. I ordered the Mia's Rossini, and my boyfriend ordered the Venus Punch. They were both classic brunch cocktails and helped all the carbs go down well. We had a Commanders game to go to afterwards, so we limited ourselves to the one drink. Like the healthy humans we pride ourselves to be, we started the meal off with a Classic Caesar salad. Next came the Mia's Signature Meatball Benedict, which set the bar very high for the rest of the meal. The meatball was so soft with beautiful sauces in the runny yolk of the poached egg and the hollandaise. The crispy polenta cake added some great texture too. Next we ordered the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe and Burrata. Both dishes were fantastically creamy, and we played with the thought of ordering a second round of both but decided against it in favor of something different. On the savory side we ended the meal with a couple pizzas (brunch and chicken & artichoke) and Rigatoni alla Bolognese. The pizzas are a reasonable size like a personal pan pizza, so it's easy to split a couple different types if you're torn on which one to order. Personally I preferred the chicken & artichoke over the brunch pizza. The Bolognese was perfect as to be expected. Even though we were too full to order dessert, we are gluttons for punishment. We ordered the House Made Donuts. The sweetness was welcome after all the savoriness. I'm not a huge fan of ricotta, but I enjoyed it in a desert application. The crème anglaise was also a perfect dipping sauce. If you're looking for a bottomless brunch, look no further than Mia's Italian Kitchen.

A group of six of us went to Mia's kitchen for brunch during the Thanksgiving weekend. Mia's hosts an all you can enjoy experience for $32! All fresh in house Italian foods (including a GIANT meatball). My friends said it would be amazing but wow, did it deliver! We ordered so many dishes (all served family style), and each was unique with a homemade Italian flair. Our favorite dish was the Breakfast Bruschetta - whipped cream cheese, honey, fresh fruit all over a cranberry walnut bread. We ordered it three separate times! Our server was lovely and regularly checked in on us and asked if we wanted to order more. There was a bit of a delay to receive food, which made sense given the amount of guests, but order timely to make sure you are always eating.
